For the first time, France’s historical stage La Comédie-Française comes to global audiences live from Paris in cinemas worldwide with three timeless classics.
Created in 1680, the “House of Molière” will broadcast live from its emblematic Salle Richelieu starting with Roméo et Juliette on October 13, William Shakespeare’s play translated by Victor Hugo’s son François-Victor Hugo. Molière’s le Misanthrope and Edmond Rostand’s Cyrano de Bergerac will follow in select cinemas across the globe.
